Cephalodella gracilis "var" lenticulata; left image: in contrast to the description of Wulfert (1938) this morphotype has a pigmented eyespot with a lens. The arrows in both images point to the 4 nuclei of the vitellarium. right image: compressed specimen gives evidence that there are only 4 nuclei. |
